FAQs

Q:  Ok, let's cut to the chase - what can you do for me?
A:  I build your skills and infrastructure so that you can discover, cultivate and solicit donors more effectively.

Q:  So... you're gonna raise money for me?
A:  No. I'm going to teach you, your staff, volunteers and existing donors to raise money for you.

Q:  There are a lot of people who offer those kinds of services...!
A:  Well, yes and no. Some people might offer to actually solicit for your mossad (don't do it!), or offer to go with you on solicitations, ot teach you how to make a presentation. I help you to build an infrastructure that's unique to your mossad.

Q:  Whaaat? What are you talking about?!
A:  I'm talking about totally changing the way you raise money for your mossad. Right now, you're working too hard for too little results. Ultimately, in order to have secure revenues for your mossad, you're going to have to build a organization-wide fundraising system that will weather a tough economy, fickle donors, or your seasonal vacations in the Bahamas.

Q:  But I fear change!
A:  I understand, but these changes are not traumatic. They take place gradually and allow you to capitalize on your strengths.

Q:  But it's a numbers game! Won't I eventually "strike gold" anyway?
A:  Yes... or you'll go bankrupt trying.

Q:  There are a lot of "systems" out there. How do I know yours works?
A:  It works because it must. There is no "trick" to utilizing resources that your mossad already possesses. Regardless of the mission, size or age of your organization, your staff, volunteers, neighbors, accomplishments and public image are all elements that can be mobilized to bring revenue. The only exceptions to the rule are mosdos that have very serious public relations problems (a la Acorn) or are too poorly run to operate functionally.

Q:  Are you expensive?
A:  In most cases, I cost less than your part-time receptionist.

Q:  Great! In that case, can you manage my annual campaign?
A:  Hold your horses, there...! I'm happy to directly manage your campaign. Just bear in mind that project management is quite a bit more pricey than consulting! We'll have to talk in detail about that one.

Q:  How long will I need to use you?
A:  Anywhere from three months to infinity. The average is about six months. It really depends on what kind of resources you have available to your mossad right now.

Q:  Sounds like exactly what we need. Where can I reach you?
A:  Right here.
